SUMMER IS QUICKLY ENDING!
Yikes, i cant believe how fast this summer is going by. With greg away all of July I thought it would be a slow one but with only 3 weeks left before school starts I am beginning to question how I am going to get it all done. Considering I am 29 weeks pregnant, chasing and lugging around Kohana (now 21 months), trying to accomidate 6 (YAHOO) new stores, planning our new designs and pieces, and getting ready to sell at the Peach Festival, no wonder I often feel overwhelmed. But the show must go on! We are super excited to have hired a new member of our ROCK&RATTLE team, Agata! She is a talented fashion student with tons of sewing expertise who is currently helping out with the popular mohawks, and designing new skirts and pants! I know they will kick ass, and cant wait to showcase them! If you are around Aug. 22 -24th, the Winona Peach Festival (huge event) is taking place and ROCK&RATTLE will have a booth with tons of sales and goodies! Fingers crossed it wont rain! Greg's new album will be released next month, which is also very exciting. Look for him on the cover of Sept. CHART magazine. He will also be playing at Virgin Fest this year, which is always an amazing event. Sorry about the mismatch of info, I am off to get an order out to California, till next time.......

WARP TOUR 2008
Hey rattlers! Welcome to my world of blogging. So yesterday was a really special day for our family. As many of you know my husband Greg plays for the amazing band The Saint Alvia. He is currently on the Warp Tour for a month, traveling across North America. Well, yesterday they played a home town show so myself and Kohana got to go visit "daddy" on his big bus. Since we have dropped Greg off at his tour bus a few weeks ago, Kohana has been saying Daddy's bus nonstop. She really enjoyed running around the tour bus, checking out the bunks, and trying to open all the unknown cupboards. The only downfall of the day was that nap time just happened to occur during Greg's show, but that's ok, we wanted to spend the whole day with Greg so a happy well-rested baby makes it sooooo much easier and enjoyable. Koko was quite popular on the tour, it was actually cute how many "rock star, tattooed, punked out" guys took notice of her and commented on her cuteness! So back to reality, home again just me and Koko, with a million things to try and catch up on and figure out (god i hate the postal system sometimes). Luckily I have Thursday to look forward to as the tour passes by rather close again (our friendly neighbours NY) so of course we will make the trip to spend any time we can with Greg. As for ROCK&RATTLE, I am trying my best to keep on top of things - while caring for a busy 20 month old, 7 months pregnant, and trying to keep up with the house hold. But you know what it is all worth it - seeing my husband living out his dream, and the feeling of accomplishment selling more and more ROCK&RATTLE each week. LIFE IS BUSY, BUT LIFE SURE IS GOOD!
